Upcoming Event - Older Adult Social Isolation Roundtable: A Community Response

Description

We know the consequences of isolation, but what are the solutions?

Age-Friendly San Jose and the Santa Clara County Seniors’ Agenda, in partnership with the Institute on Aging, AARP, The Santa Clara County Public Health Department and the Office of Assembly Member Ash Kalra, are hosting a Roundtable on Social Inclusion of Older Adults in order to change these outcomes for isolated older adults.

Please join policymakers, practitioners, experts, and service providers to explore the causes of isolation, learn what services and programs are available to address the causes and consequences of loneliness, and how the County and City, working with agencies and organizations, can help solve this growing problem.
