During this time of extraordinary caution and as our county prepares to ease its Shelter-in-Place restrictions, it is important for VTA to continue to engage with the older adult community. For this reason, VTA has adapted its Travel Wise 101 workshop series that now provides short prerecorded presentations introducing fixed route public transit to older adults.
These presentations can provide useful information about VTA that will help older adults gain confidence in using fixed route service when they are ready to do so. These presentations can be found at www.vta.org/seniors. VTA staff is also happy to provide interactive virtual presentations.
