Americans have a hard time talking openly about the topic of sex. When it comes to sexual intimacy among older adults, it is a subject people simply don’t talk about. This silence impacts the ability to have important discussions with healthcare providers. Data show that older adults are being treated for a greater number of sexually transmitted infections than in the past.
Join us on Friday, March 13, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm to hear speakers Joanne Alba, Planned Parenthood, Oregon and Raj Gill, County of Santa Clara’s Public Health Department, discuss issues of sex and older adults.
